My first blog post

Well, here it is. My very first post in this blog. If nothing else, at least I can vent without screaming my head off at anyone who might be around. Right now, I'm wearing a t-shirt that says "Do I look like a friggin' people person?". That kind of sums up my week. I have a rep at work of being anal and detail oriented. I know that I make some people mad, but I care about putting out a quality product. I was venting to a co-worker about a meeting that I just came out of (where I'm sure the other people at the meeting went back to their offices, got out their voodoo dolls of me, and started poking pins in it), and he just looked at me and said (jokingly), "You're not a people person, are you?". So, when I saw this t-shirt, I had to have it. :)

Like my profile says, I'm the single mother of a teenage son. I'm sure that if I keep up this blog, there will be quite a few posts about him. I call him "high maintenance", but I love him to death. He drives me crazy at times, but I can't imagine my life without him.
